I wonder how people with different backgrounds and family traditions actually come together to live with each other. It's a perpetual problem. it will always be there and they can just live with it. it seems to be that they can always live with it at least. hopefully that's the case. can't stand it. if this time i'm going to face this kind of problem in china i will just stay neutral. be numb. numbness to this kind of thing is the best. i'm not going to confuse myself again. everyone has a different way to live. so whatever.
