Wild Wild Wet day

today started with a SPLASH! great beginning for a day where you have early meeting at 7am, SPA, and then late french film at 8pm. you can never be luckier!

so i woke up at 5.30am today, and then reached the same stop at 6.40am. But immediately after i crossed the underpass it started to pour and there's still a long way to go before i can reach rj. so i used my jacket as a temporary shelter (how pathetic) and rushed to the nearest petrol station. by then by skirt was half wet. then i bought an umbrella for $4! After which i continued walking and soon realised that the rain is getting heavier and my bag wetter by the second! GRA. I was thus forced to turn back, and walked to the nearest bus stop to take 410. At this point of time my jacket was wet enough, my feet were soaked in water, and my poor bag is having a cold bath.

Since it was so early and i was the only rj student on the bus, i missed my stop cause i was half dazed by what happened and half asleep. kinda. so in the end i alighted opposite RI and have to walk one whole round to RJ again. Nevetheless, let's just say it was a good exercise, both mental and physical, to have a nice, cooling, wet stroll on a Tuesday morning! Before school started!

7am: at council canteen for invest comm meeting. felt cold, wet, sick and disgusting. Put out my umbrella to dry and consequently left it there for the rest of the day.

Lesson started with me, cheryl, zoe drying socks and shoes in class, while trying to warm our bare feet in the cold aircon room. This is followed by me attempting to go barefooted during SPA but thanks to the chem lab my feet felt better. Bookshop didn't manage to save my day cause they don't sell socks there! (they should seriously, they will earn a lot) and soon i discovered the MT shirt i laid out to dry was still in the classroom, and later my SS notes was left in the scanner in the library, and much later i went back to the council canteen again for meeting, as well as to retrieve my newly bought umbrella.

Rest of the evening is cold too. spent 2 hrs 15 mins in alliance watching La Vie en Rose. (I like it not bad) WITHOUT DINNER! By then, i can surely say that I SMELT GREAT AND LOOKED GREAT
